For more than 20 years, Chris has provided customized financial planning and portfolio management based on his clients’ risks, goals and dreams. He began his career with a full-service bank, which taught him the importance of comprehensive advice and exceeding client expectations. His wealth planning and retirement income solutions have made a real impact in his clients’ lives. And, his integrity, good humor, commitment to hard work and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done right have built long-lasting client relationships.
Having moved the practice he shares with partner Paul to RBC Wealth Management in 2017, Chris focuses primarily on portfolio management and financial planning. Thoughtful and attentive, he makes investment recommendations after thorough conversations with his clients, and by understanding their unique financial situation and comfort with risk.
Qualifications
Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business finance and economics from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, where he was an Academic All-Conference honoree as co-captain of the college basketball team. He is active in his church, and volunteers at a number of charitable organizations, including Harvesters, The Rose Brooks Center, and fostering cats with Kitty City. Chris and his wife, of over 20 years, Heidi, have two daughters, Kayley and Lauren. Chris enjoys spending time with his family, especially his daughters’ sporting activities, and playing golf with his wife, and friends.
